I don't know about you, but it certainly makes me feel better. Then again, I think there's a lot of hope already in the epilogue. I do like getting Ianto's perspective here, and I hope to see more, at some point.

There will be more, definitely. And I'm glad this strikes you as hopeful; this is kind of the bright point that makes digging through all the bleak backstory actually worth it.
