Hm. Interesting! And it sounds like a second chance for both Dean and Cas.

Maybe Dean can save Cas from himself this time.

MoAR!. The only suggestion I'd make is to give more spacing between the time lines. When you move ahead by six months, maybe set the scene for just a little bit longer- Dean's part was great. I really enjoyed being in the middle of everything. With Cas' back story, I felt more like I was being told rather than shown.

Yeah, if I had time to write a whole thing about Cas, I would have, but unfortunately, this fic was mostly just because I needed to get it out of my brainbox, and I don't come from the sort of family I'm describing Cas as having, so I didn't feel like trying to get into that headspace. But I totally get where you're coming from, maybe someday I'll rewrite some of it and make it longer, after I get this other story and the other other story out of my system :)

As soon as I read your summary I got so excited. I've been writing a story with a similar concept where Dean goes to some AU where he has to live as a normal kid. So as soon as I read your summary I got super happy! I really like what you have, I like this conflict you made with Dean and Cas, I especially like how Cas is turning into 2014!Cas. It's a really neat twist. I love it!

I am really excited to read more!

Dude! Thanks so much for the comment! I totally just read the ohio drought and loved it! It made me really pumped to see an author who I totally remember notice my fic :)

That's so sweet! Thank you! Your fic is very noticeable, the plot is really original and I just loved everything in it! It's a bit too fast paced, but I really did enjoy reading it. It's fun and I can't wait for the tension break~

The whole thing is posted on my journal, the formatting for the third bit is funky, but it's complete :)

Also, I'm now writing another hsau that I meant to be a ficlet when i started writing it 3 hours ago, and is now looking like it's gonna be a whole story. Spoiler alert, Cas will be wearing skin tight jeans. So there's that to look forward to.
