Insurance Companies Not So Evil?

I'm not surprised that there are companies out there making larger annual profits than health insurance companies, but I had no idea their profit margins had sunk this low:Health insurance profit margins typically run about 6 percent, give or take a point or two. That's anemic compared with other forms of insurance and a broad array of industries,

I have my car insurance through USAA and have never had a problem. The rates are reasonable, to me. I also have my renter's insurance through them, so I get a little discount.

I have USAA now, but I used to have Progressive (they were cheaper at the time) and never had any problems with them.
