to... I'm not going to finish that. When working with others, you tend to be more...
Mature or Immature?: Mature, and to the point that I get accused of taking it in excess. I do have several unconventional immature traits, but they wouldn't affect group work.
Leader or Follower?: Leader, albeit in an occasionally unapparent sense. I may not be as loud as others, but I'm usually the one directing things.
Optimistic or Pessimistic?: I'm capable of being both, so realistic. Some may argue pessimistic for how I constantly mistrust others and am otherwise extremely cynical, but I consider that another branch of realism.
Impulsive or Cautious: Cautious. I have control over my emotions, so it's rare to see me ever acting without thinking.
Outgoing or Shy: Neither. I'm outgoing in the sense of not being afraid to speak up, but I'm naturally an introvert and will act incredibly awkward if pelted with personal questions.
Scenario Time: Okay, so everyone has met their teammates by now. The following questions will go along with that idea.
What kind of impression would you most like to have of your team even before you start working together?
...that they have even a remote idea of what they're doing/getting themselves into. As long as I can tolerate them (read: they're not loud and obnoxious) and they seem competent, I don't have much of an opinion on this one.
What role could you see yourself performing in the team (i.e.: strategist, offensive fighter, support, etc.)?
I usually am the one devising strategies, and while I can easily see that as my primary role, I would prefer to have an offensive role in the fight as well.
Would it be necessary for you and your teammates to get along at all times? Even when you're not on missions?
Hah. No. I think it would be more benefical for the team as a whole to have at least one or two members who create conflict or intimidate the others. This usually makes it so everyone is more competitive in their work; thus, the team is more likely to get the job done efficiently the first time. You don't need to like each other to realize the importance of support.
Suppose one of your teammates ends up getting captured during a really important mission. There is a debate on whether or not a rescue attempt should be made since it might jeopardize said mission. What would you want to do?
Unless this person was essential to the mission to begin with, I don't see any reason to save them; the goal is more important to the team as a collective whole. If anyone was concerned with said person they could always conjure up a plan for a different mission and rescue them on their own time.
Reverse scenario time. YOU'RE the unlucky captive. What would you want/expect your teammates to do in that situation?
... if they did come and rescue me, I'd never live the shame down either way. If I can't find my own way out of the situation, I'd rather be left. Given that team members are already being taken captive, it's unlikely that running in with brute force would work to begin with... Instead of waiting around hoping for rescue, I'd likely try to bargain with those who captured me first.
Time has passed.
Would you feel that your team was more trouble than it was worth in the long run or that the experience was worth it?
It depends on how the team itself was. However, considering how I usually despise working in groups to begin with, I'm going to opt for them being more trouble than it's worth.
Would the thought of working separately from them on a mission make you feel a bit nervous?
Not at all, I'm sure I would prefer it. Teams are useful for the obvious more numbers equals more power factor, but there's always another way to get something done.
How would you feel about a lengthier, perhaps even permanent, dissolution of your team?
Unless our team had a particular ideology attached to it, I doubt I would be that concerned. People come and go, 'tis the nature of things. I actually try to avoid creating strong bonds for this reason alone.
Is there a particular team in the Naruto-verse that you feel you'd get along with the least? If so...which team would it be and why? Team Snake. Their set "goal" is for Sasuke's personal reasons; I see no point in joining a team just to assist someone else's senseless goals and I can see no way to benefit personally from joining him. That aside, I'd never be able to tolerate two seconds in the same room with both emo-boy and his love-leech.
