Your worst?: I am extremely cynical. I have my reasons, but it upsets a lot of people to hear the things that I say come out of the mouth of someone my age.

Mature or Immature?: Mature. Immature people get on my nerves and drain my energy. That doesn't mean that I won't be their friend though, just that it's easier for me to get on with more mature people.
Optimistic or Pessimistic?: Really, I'm fine with anything but romantic idealists. I don't think that true peace can ever exist. If it ever comes about, after a few generations nobody will understand what's so great about it. Choose your poison.
On to the question, I could really use someone a little more optimistic than I am to balance me out a bit.
Thinking or Feeling?: Thinking, but maybe a little more on the feeling side than I am.
Impulsive or Cautious?: Cautious, for the most part. I don't enjoy having to constantly dig people out of problems that could have been prevented by thinking for a minute. However, if it's just an occasional thing, I won't mind. It would probably take someone more impulsive than I am to get me to try anything interesting, though.
Outgoing or Shy?: Outgoing. I need someone to bring me out of my shell. Of course, I wouldn't object to having someone on the shyer end of the spectrum either.
Hardworking or Laid-back: As long as I don't have to do their work for them, I don't mind. It's nice for them to have a strong work ethic, but they don't have to be a workaholic.
Modest or Bold: Somewhere in between. Ideally, I would like to have someone who works humbly towards a great goal. I admire boldness more, just so long as it doesn't turn into arrogance, and I can tolerate that in small amounts.
What are some traits that you'd love to see in a friend: I would want them to be friendly with animals, loyal, smart enough to carry on a conversation about something besides the opposite gender, and not to judge me based on how other people treat me.
What traits would you not like to see in them?: I hate kids, but I will put your ass in a meat grinder and serve it to you on a bun if I see you (not you personally) picking on one. Same goes for animals. Don't be unnecessarily arrogant, and try not to tell me what I'm thinking/feeling.
General Questions
Do you have a best friend? or do you prefer to have none or more than one? I only have one friend that I know in person, and he's closer to a brother than a friend. I have several people online that I talk to on occasion, and they make a lot of difference in my life.
An extra bit of insight: As a general rule, I don't like for anyone to get close to me, or vice versa, because I've been burned by that by nearly everyone I come in contact with. To date, I think two people haven't seriously wronged me that I've allowed close to me. The inverse is also true; I tend to somehow or another hurt people that get close to me, and this terrifies me more than it happening to me. Not surprisingly, one of my deepest fears is being alone.
Can you describe them? Pictures are more than welcome! He's a lot like I am, in most respects. He's stubborn as an ass, but he's one of the best people I've ever met. We bitch and snark at eachother fairly constantly, only letting up when something is actually wrong. I don't really know what else to say.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? or preferences on hanging out with a friend We mostly sit around and play video games, or go out hiking in the area I live in.

What kind of relationship would you want to have with your future BFF? (rivals; on again, off again; partners, etc.) Basically like family. Some rivalry is to be expected out of any sort of relationship, but I'd try to tone it down a bit. Even if I don't take it too seriously, I tend to make the impression that I do.
What would you do if your friend suddenly changes and goes to the "dark" side? Drag him back, physically or metaphorically. I would try to figure out what made him do it, and at the very least listen to him and try to solve it back where he belongs.
Is there a friend in Naruto that you think you would NOT get along with? If so, why? Sasuke after his recent character development irritates me too much for me to get along with, but I think we'd have gotten along before the timeskip. Madara would be a terrible fit as well, along with Orochimaru.
