I recently came into a little extra money.  I'm using half of it for bill paydowns and decided to use the other half to treat myself... to a Wii.  I'm really impressed with it so far, although I haven't had it long.  I do like the fact that I can understand the conversion between $$$ and Wii points so easily.  (I still haven't been able to remember

So the games are good? And it's worth purchasing a new system for them?

I'm not sure really about the games yet, cause I haven't really played any except the sports pack and the Wii Play pack. But those are both fun :) I mean anything that comes out on the 360 and the Wii, I'd likely get the 360 version. But for Nintendo specific games, I think the Wii is going to add a fun element that games are missing. I think it will turn out that I play the 360 for entertainment and one player games and I play the Wii for fun and multi-player games :)

As for purchasing... I dunno. While I have thought about getting one, I probably wouldn't have for a long time, except that I had some special money that I wanted to do something more than just pay down debt with.
