I have my interview for the job next Thursday =) I wonder what they'll ask me. Maybe they'll ask me what experience I have, lol.

I went to the the ranbat on Sunday and got my ass handed to me like usual. The format was changed back to the round robin style, 'cos last time it was knock-out. This is good for me because I get to get humiliated more ( Read more... )

Yay interview! Hope it goes well :)

From what little I played of Ico I always felt that comic was terribly, terribly apt. I was reminded of the bit in Zelda when you have to carry Ruto around, and after two minutes you're deliberately chucking her at jellyfish and the like just in the hopes that she'd FUCK OFF AND DIE.

Yeah~ Yorda's a bit stupid at times.

At one point she hoisted herself up onto a box and refused to come down. Had to drag her down in the end XD And another time some shadows appeared while I was on a higher ledge so I reached down to get her to climb up but she just dithered around below me for a while till one of the creatures picked her up, and I had to jump down and beat them off with a stick =/

Other than that, the game's great XD

Had no idea you'd played Ico...

Yeah, back when it first came out. I remember seeing it on some gaming programme on sci-fi and going 'oooh. looks shiny'. So when I saw Aussie had it I promptly ignored the rest of the party and had a play XDD

I believe I ended up yelling, mostly. "THERE ARE SHADOWS, RIGHT THERE, BEHIND YOU. GRAB ON, NO, THIS WAY, NO, DON'T.. oh fuck."

Yeah, I used her as bait most of the time so I can get hits on more than one shadow at a time XD

And my interview should go well. I would be a bit aggrieved if they didn't give me the job XD

Yeah, I'm not really that nervous at all. I've pretty much been told by the powers that be that I'm getting given the job anyway XD
