Tsunami Warning

Good Morning Folks. I was woken up at 6 a.m. by the Civil Defense Sirens. Immediately I knew that it was because of a tsunami because of the earthquake in Chile last night around 8:30 p.m. Hawaii time. It was nice that civil defense waited till 6 a.m. to sound the alarm because I'm sure they've been on alert for nearly 12 hours at this point

I've been thinking about you. I figured you'd be fine.

My dad's not in an evacuation area either, though I'm sure my mom is between Waikiki and the Ala Wai. I'm been watching KHON news on streaming and talking with my parents.

As soon as I heard about the maybe-tsunami, I thought of you. Glad to hear you should be okay--take care of yourself and we'll be thinking of you.
