So I read your author's note at the beginning, and thought, "Do I really want to read this right now? I just spent the last 30 minutes crying over a book I just finished." And well, what the hey, might as well just continue crying, right? =P
I'm glad I did, because it was sad in a bittersweet way, not sad in a depressing way. I love the theme of impossible dreams, and how you connected that with Terence. I know that Terence turns out okay, so it made the ending not exactly too sad, because of the hope that Terence would go on to have fun, little adventures with Gawain! XD
Lol, I giggled a bit about being an old maid at 24.

But Terence doesn't just have little adventures, he saves the world! XD
So foreign, yet so true. Funny how the world changes when life expectancy goes up, right?
