Death, Depression And Tasty Meats

Went to see 4.48 Psychosis tonight. One of the blurbs from the critics says "Suicide note? 4.48 is much more than that". It isn't though. However sharply observed it is it remains a personal document. I couldn't help but feel sympathetic to the actors who have to put themselves from the wringer every night ( Read more... )

Juice AND a hot drink is the correct solution for breakfast.

If it makes you feel better I had a liquid dinner tonight.

You've left out a few critical choices:
breads: soda farls and potato bread (both fried obviously)
meat: white and red puddings
and what about eggs: fried, scrambled or poached?

Damn, now I wish I'd had time for something more than a rushed bowl of muesli with extra cranberries this morning.

I didn't include kidneys either, just tried to include one representative from each meat group. I do like white pudding but I've never heard of or seen red pudding. Is it like rosé?

On bread I'll admit I overlooked dirty ethnic breads. Good. Eggs on the other hand were a calamitous oversight. Although they don't play a part in my prefered fried breakfast* they should have been included.

The irony is I never even eat breakfast.

* Fried potatoes, beans, sausage (2), bacon (3), black pudding, grilled tomato, fried slice (2).

Breakfast is a bowl of cereal, usually preceded by orange juice and followed by coffee. For special occasions egg (fried or scrambled) on toast will suffice in place of the cereal. Naturally basil, mint, etc from the garden will be added to the egg prior to eating.
