I went to see Wolves In The Walls last night at the Lyric. It was more a children's show rather than an all ages one (predominantly adult audience notwithstanding) but I found it very enjoyable. The book is very much an equal collaboration between Neil Gaimen and Dave McKean and this was a very visual adaption. It opens with a nice riff on McKean's ( Read more... )

i think the whole mutli-media approach was what made it a strong show for me. though as you say, the whole singing thing is just that little bit weird. the night i saw it was a saturday, and it was packed with kids.

teh wolves were grat weren't they? Reminded me of how the NT did the daemons in His Dar Materials.
Agree the songs were mostly the letdown - very community theatre.
