Wow! This was really quite intense stuff here! The Master was really taking out his frustrations on the poor Doctor! And, beating him so mercilessly !
But then, I was shocked when the Doctor used that taser on the Master, knocking him unconscious, then he woke up tied to that Y-shaped support beam. Ohh, that was the Doctor getting his own back, but I knew that he would never hurt the Master, and use that whip. I think he just wanted to hear the Master beg and plead for him not to.
Awe, that was kind of sad to see the Master crying and begging the Doctor. They really do have a love hate relationship, don't they? And, I absolutely love how the Doctor tenderly kissed the back of his neck, and told him he never would. He he. That was just so sweet, and so very much the Doctor.
Thanks so much for this, I really loved it a lot! It was exciting and thrilling, and kept me on the edge of my seat. I've saved it to my mems :)
He almost certainly just wanted to hear the Master beg him. . . which, if you think about it, is nicer than actually whipping him, but still not very nice. I'm glad you enjoyed; I was afraid people would think it was all too nasty.
Ooh, very good and well-written. Interesting to see how the Master changes between two ends of his personality so quickly, but both are canon. He did seem quite terrified when the Doctor became all 'glowy messiah' and overpowered him. Clever of the Master to use a paperclip to escape the handcuffs, but really, he should have secured the Doctor better =P he should have known by now but he always did underestimate the Doctor <.< Love the last two lines too =) and eager to read the next chapter
I think the Master doesn't so much underestimate the Doctor as he does overestimate himself. And there's, canonically, a lot he's afraid of - pain and death, certainly, but most of all being humbled. And there's nothing quite like your mortal enemy becoming a god to knock you down a peg. . .
