Yayyyy!!! The block has finally given way a bit. That’s wonderful! And what a fun ‘n’ juicy little piece to end the dry spell. >:D

Candy-floss is…a licorice swizzle??? I’ve never heard that term before.

“No chocolate?” Even she was a bit surprised at the wail in her tone.

OMG, that would suck! XD I definitely fall on the anti-vanilla side. It’s not that vanilla is boring per se, because there’s some hella good vanilla out there. But I’m just one of those people--it’s chocolate or nuthin’.

Rose couldn’t fight back a sheepish grin at the expression that clearly read, “Get a room.”

*LOL* Dude, I love it. This has some funny (and sexy!) little moments that put a huge smile on my face.

Yeah, it's been cracking the past few days. Still, this was a surprise at 2600 words!

HahahahahahXD!!! I had to think about it for a moment, but that's a great guess. No. It's just plain old cotton candy in British.

I do love chocolate, but I love vanilla, too, and perhaps more for all the reasons I the Doctor said. But in part, that was because of a conversation I'd been having with cathica, in which vanilla ice cream featured both literally and metaphorically. And since two of the prompts were "raspberry" and "ripple", the rest just wrote itself.

I thought it was sexy. Oddly, every comment on TSP is some variation on "sweet", and I didn't think it was really all that sweet - still, I guess I'll settle for that, like a good little Lynda. ;-)

This was wonderful, very descriptive and romantic. Loved the short poignant bit about his reaction to the guns. The ending... Perfect.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! It's funny, both the thing about the guns and that last line crept up on me. I can't seem to do unadulterated fluff, it's always got some dirt in it somewhere.

Welcome!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.

People tend to forget that Nine and Rose were incredibly playful (and sexy while doing it - the two were more mixed up together with them). And most of my fic tends to be quite angsty, so this was a challenge for me to write something fun! Leeeeetle bit of angst creeped in there, though - ironically, I wrote this some time ago and just remembered to cross-post it to T&C, but after the last two weeks of the Doctor banging on about guns, that part does seem to stick out more.

What an absolutely lovely lunchtime surprise! I was trolling for something quick and light and that hit the spot. In more ways in the one! Ah, you tweaked my Nine nostalgia. He and Rose were just so lovely together. And the ice cream. Nice. I had a bunny bite me ages ago about Nine, Rose and ice cream. Glad I'm not the only one with such fantasies!! ;)

Nine and Rose had a wonderful mixture of hot and sweet; there's just not enough of it.

Oh, I think I remember that - I believe it was the one where they ended up *ahem* engaged on the seat in the console room?

Yeah, I think that's a winning combination.

Hee! Engaged is a good word to describe it. Sometimes I just can't say no to a good smut bunny. It's a vice, what can I say?

You're absolutely right, though, Nine and Rose (and ice cream) are ALWAYS a winning combo!
