Finished my final exam today. Tonight I plan on getting trolleyed.

Before, though, a post!

It's been a funny old year. Moving out of my tiny village to London, growing up more than I really wanted to, figuring out more about myself, losing a member of my family, making some wonderful friends... kind of up-and-down all over. And it's been six months ( Read more... )

I return! And this one is not a false start-y "I'm back! *vanish forever*" either, I hope. :D How have you been?

It's been a bit of a roller coaster in the past couple of months, but I'm hanging in there! Trying to find my inspiration again and enjoying having out-of-state friends for a visit. :) It'll be really nice to see you posting again. Sometimes life just happens, don't worry about it, but I hope it'll leave you alone for a bit anyway.

It's been roller coasters all over just lately! I'm really glad so many familiar faces are still around. :) Enjoy your time away from writing, even if it is involuntary-- inspiration can spring up at the weirdest times.

I'm seriously so glad you're back, and that you're... okay is not the right word, but I think you know what I mean. <3

I think 'okay' is fair, for lack of an alternative. I'm at ease again and slipping back into ordinary life. Or as ordinary as it gets around here. :) <3 I've missed everyone!

Willooooow. :D

It's good to be back. I've been very busy or otherwise engaged, but things are finally settling down and I'm feeling hopeful for the future. I wish much of the same to you, and your own studies too! I feel like I know so much more now.

You have a lovely day too, sweet!

Dear lord. I expected to never see you again. D: What's funny is I was just thinking about you the other day! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I'm working on the DARKMORE SEQUEL!!1!1111!11 I submitted the first book to PUBLISHERZ. And I can promise you the version I handed in it pretty much only half of the version you read. I pretty much redid the last half of the book. >3 I WENT TO A ~Romance~ Writer's Conference and really HIT IT OFF with people. :D

My flist has been such a ghost town without people to read. (You kind of missed it. LJ did something that made people flip their everlovin' shit over things that were REALLY NOT THAT BAD and ran away to Dreamwidth in a huff. But really... It was a whole lot of THE SKY IS FALLING OMG and I was like '.............really people? really? :/')

SO GLAD UR BACK. :D

(PEE ESS: Camp NaNoWriMo is in 11 Days~ *waggles brows* >3)

YEEHAW. I'm back indeed. :D <3

Sequel, no wai! :O And I'm not even caught up on the first one properly! But I'm glad to hear that's all coming along for you, though I had a feeling that it would be. ;)

What what? What did LJ do? I've noticed a few absences. Catch me up?

(And now Camp NaNo's in three days... hmmmm... considering I'm now free of schoolwork to worry about, it IS tempting. But I have. NO STORY.)

YUS. SEQUEL. Jack and Sevon are back to their usual steamy shenannyginz and of course adventure and drama inevitably ensue. >3 I'm 26k into it as of last night. This time we're battling were-spiders. And I give myself the screaming heebie-jeebies looking up visual reference. @_@

LJ apparently did some thing where they changed the layout of the site. Like the comment boxes function differently. As you see in your LJ the comments remain the exact same way they always have been. But for free users they're totally different. They're kind of this animated pullout/dropdown thing that makes older computers lock up and die in ball of fire, people that suffer from migraines supposedly get automatic conniptions from it, and all kinds of stuff that really had no concrete proof it was doing what it was doing. Me? I didn't see anything wrong, I'm still on a few comms that have adopted the new system and never a single complaint. I think it was a matter of people didn't like change ( ... )

Well, I'm on a free account and I've noticed a few changes but it's been a while... I don't really mind it, horses for courses I suppose. Glad everyone hasn't left, in any case, and a few people seem to be half/halfing it which is fair.

And I have decided to go for Camp NaNo. Because why the hell not, screw easing back into writing, DIVE. Totally not related to anything I have ever written before... it's going to be a fantasy story centred on sociolinguistics after the invasion of one nation by another. And some adventure and romance also happens. And there are elves. I don't know, I bashed out the background entirely this evening, the plot can come later.

Given the fact I start a brand new job next week I'll probably fail, blub. But I'll fail PROUDLY.
