OH THANK GOD I was super worried about you! But I'm glad it was just general life keeping you away and nothing too awful (or so I hope)? Anyway. Welcome back! Don't disappear again plz. <3

I'm doing pretty well! Writing up a storm, excited for NaNo, rocking grad school. Right now I'm reading about the Black Death and hemhorragic fevers, so... be prepared for death on RATS?

Oh, also, there was a lot of EPIC PIRATE AU. You started a monster.

It was a bit of a shitty time to start with which kind of triggered the random, unannounced, long-as-hell hiatus, but I kicked its ass out of my headspace a couple of weeks back, I just never really got back into writing and thus never really used my laptop and thus kind of... drifted away from internetland. But I've superly duperly missing everyone and reading all of the awesome. And just RaTs. It's such a great site.

No idea how I'm going to catch up (especially on EPIC PIRATE AU) but I will do my best! xD AND I AM OFF TO RATS NOW.

Yay for doing well on your A-levels and things going better! I hope we get to keep you this time.

We are doing community-wide Pumpkin Pie for October and a special challenge at the end of the month (go check out the_malt_shoppe) if either of those inspires you. (You do NOT need open slots, just dive in!)

I've been going through spurts of not writing at all and getting frustrated and I am seriously contemplating another fabulous fail at NaNo just to try to give myself a kick too. What are you thinking about working on?

GOOD TO BE BACK! I hope nothing tears me away this time.

I do hope I get to chip in for a few of the Pumpkin Pie prompts, just for the sake of getting some actual writing going. I've been struggling hugely. >.< RaTs and NaNo will both get me into shape, I hope.

For NaNo, I'm thinking something completely new in a post-apocalyptic setting. I haven't got much in the way of planning done yet, so I should probably get on with that. Do you have any solid ideas yet?

Oh Nina, we missed you.

I'm doing fine. I gave up economics for good (well, it's still my minor) and now I'm doing British and American Studies which is a dream come true. Writing-wise, I'm on and off and trying my hand at something new, the Kennedy story, for NaNo. Also, I'm neglecting my friends who are hanging out in my apartment to write this.

That's awesome. :D I'm doing English Lit and it's only been three weeks or so of the course but I'm loving it so far. And for NaNo, bits and pieces may be appearing on RaTs once I start hashing out ideas and the like.

My classes start next Monday and I'm dying to go back, mostly because I've spent the last month studying for exams and classes are much more relaxing than the second round of finals.

English Lit sounds awesome. What kind of classes are you taking?

I'll probably use RaTs prompts to work my way through NaNo, so I might do the same.

My first two modules this term are Shakespeare (and his contemporaries) and Poetry & Prose. They're both faaairly straightforward, which is good for easing into it I guess. I could have done a Creative Writing module but I picked Shakespeare instead and I'll probably join the Creative Writing club if it's any good... I've managed to miss all of the meetings so far. Oops.

I am so hoping that RaTs kicks my ass into writing more. Hopefully I'll bang something up today because I like today's FOTD.
