Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. These are freaking awesome, and I've loved having them in my game! I'm really excited to test out the horizonless version; I think it'll look better on bigger neighborhoods. Good on you for making such a great deco! :D

Aww thank you! I'm really glad you enjoy them :D The horizonless version was really quite necessary as it's so much more versatile, so I'm glad I finally got them out.
I love your icon, by the way, and I hope you won't mind if I friend you back :)

Oh, I totally don't mind! :D I tested the no-horizon versions in my game and they're amazing. The flaming sun recolor is great too! Now I've gotta take some neighborhood pictures! ;D

Oh cool! Happy to hear that. Glad you like the flaming sun too, it can be a bit over the top sometimes :D I hope you will be sharing the pictures you take! I love seeing neighbourhood photos :)

These are gorgeous, even the ones from before. I've never used a sky cover before, but I'll try this out soon! Will I still see these when im playing a lot (not neighborhood view)?

Thank you! :D I hope you will enjoy them in-game. If you haven't yet, read also Psychosims original post for a better explanation of how to place the globe :)
It's not as Sims-like cartoony as the default sky, but it sure does make for some pretty 'hood views! And it sets the mood :)
Hope you didn't mind me friending you back last night :D

Addition:
I intended to but completely forgot to answer your question, sorry! Unfortunately they're not visible from lot view, it's too gigantic for that :)
Psychosim mentions that you can just use Chris997's lot atmosphere, or its recolour by Danicast, inside a lot. I (or CuriousB) do want to make similar recolours for the lot atmosphere as well, but the lot atmosphere has special functions and I'm actually kind of waiting/hoping for CuriousB to make it recolourable like any other object...
The existing textures on the lot atmosphere do make a huge difference as well, though, and I used some of them too for these NH skies, so you can still have some matching if you like :D

Oh, summer holidays are such a relief! My sleep schedule has slipped a bit, but it doesn't matter, because I don't have to worry about school! ...except for all those forms I still have to send back to the university ^_^
I'm getting a lot of inspiration from catching up on Chickadeelee's and your old BACC posts, as well :)

I hope you enjoy these as well! And you know how much I love your neighbourhood pictures... *hint, hint* ;)

These are still so beautiful, and I believe they will fit hoods with water at the edge better. I like the extras as well, especially clear beams - yes, sometimes the sky is like that, more colourful and gorgeous than we would dare imagine.

If transferring the textures has not yet been done, I'd gladly do it. I would welcome some advice on how to transform the textures from your 1024x1024 textures to the smaller textures in the C7 object. I'm asking because the proportion of the sky part in the original texture is different.

I hadn't seen these until just now. They look great! I adore the other set and I'm definitely going to play around with my hood and see which of the two looks best. Thanks!

Thank you for your lovely comment! I am indeed glad you like them. ^_^

I think the horizons can add a little extra, but it has to look just right to be believable... Horizonless versions will be much more versatile and I'm still not entirely happy with the horizon texture. If you think of anything that might improve it, I would be most obliged!
