Also, little footnote: Mars was actually closer in 2003 than it will be this year. Not a great deal, in astronomical terms, but measurably so.

Well I am "flying" to California on the 24'th for my cousin Aimie's weding on the and on the bloody 25'th some of my muggle family members and others are going to be viewing mars from a beach in California. Of course my brother's Brett and Nick will be there as well.
