So, I just got a letter from a student (i have a little mailbox so that students can pen pal with me, cause a lot of them are too shy to just come up and talk to me), and this sweet 16 yr old girl, who says she loves cherry blossoms and samurai...just wrote this

hahaha, do you ever get tempted to lie to these kids and tell them the wrong stuff? and then wait to see all the funny english conversations they have?

One thing that definitely happens is when they ask me what "american so and sos are like" and i say "well, i dunno about ALL of america, but in MY house...etc etc", and then they go around with an image of ALL americans as having 6 kids in their family...
