Cannot quantify how much I enjoyed this. I like your decisions with the plot, with explanations, with development. I like that it could be a friend piece without being boring. I like that if you want to squint and make it pre-slash you can do that, too. I liked how you handled the subject matter and didn't make the reflection on Mick's abuse into something trite or something that causes a major discrepancy in his characterization - or in Prophet's. The banter was on point and Grandpa references didn't skeeze me out in a fetish sort of way.

Just really great job. Bravo.
