Oh, that was so painful and when he jumped - that part was just beautifully written and then there was Dean. All the parts with Dean rescuing him and getting him better made me so happy.

Probably a lot darker than OP expected but it was beautiful. Bella's totally right about the jump, my heart stopped when I read that. And Castiel coming back when Dean thought he was gone. I feel like Dean understanding his nature just made Castiel feel even more for him. Just, d'awww and oh my gosh, Alistair. Kill him. I was.... Pleasantly surprised at seeing that the drinking man was Crowley? I thought he might have a part and the nicknames he gave him just pointed more in his direction. I love how it read from Castiel's POV though, made me sad and happy at the same time.
