The Funeral home was near the edge of town. It was attatched to a church, and a cemetary. How's that for convenience. There is only one road outside. One heads deeper into town, the other ends at a covered bridge.

It's quiet out here. Unnaturally so.

Bella crept quickly and silently down the hallway. She would have just apparated away but she needed to find Connor. Damn it Connor. You better never say my family is messed up after this. My family wouldn't put you in a damn box to kill you. she scowled as she walked.

Seriously there's not even any animal sounds. The sun shines brightly through the windows of the funeral home though, and the front door is easily found. It's not even locked.

Bella stepped out into the sunshine. At least she knew the freaks couldn't come out into the sun. She sighed and looked around. Maybe Connor had gone home...

Parked just outside, is a long, black hearse. In the stillness of the morning, one might hear faint sounds coming from inside.
