And so while roleplaying with Tiriana tonight, an interesting subject was brought up. I figured that A'son probably cares about Tiriana in a "not wanting her to die kind of way" but then other people, he could care less (or so he thinks now) if they suddenly dropped dead. Such as Leova. So then I started going through a list in my head of how different people "rate" in his brain. Basically, these are the people he'd feel some remorse for if they dropped dead tomorrow. For whatever reason. I'm doing a top five and if anyone else wants to do it, I'd be curious to see. :P
1 + 2) Persie/N'thei: They sort of fight for the number one spot. Girlfriend or Best Friend? If they were both in danger at the same time, who would he save? - They'd probably both die because A'son would be too much of a pussy to do anything.
3) His mother: She's his mom.
4) Milani: Old girlfriend with lots and lots of backstory.
5) Tiriana: She's the Weyrwoman. That would be bad.
