We missed you! Yes, blame any errant commas on Sarah! :D

Fantastic read, both in terms of plot and characterisation!! :) Telepathy is my number one kink, so consider me well and truly catered too - although I won't be getting much done now... for quite some time *happy sigh* This is definitely making a very welcome addition to my bookmarks for lots of near-future re-reading!! Thank you!!

Thank you so much!

I have read some other fics where they had telepathy as a positive, especially in sexual situations but it never quite rang true to me, so I wanted to explore it, especially after I had watched Charlie X. I would think that, especially in a 'first time' situation that the feelings from the other person would be quite overwhelming.

Also the ethical implications of being able to read someone else's thoughts is something I am very intrigued with. Bones is someone for whom ethics is a strong consideration. Would he find it intriguing or would he want to distance himself from others?

Again, thank you so much for the comment and that you enjoyed it enough to bookmark it. *blushes*

It showed that you thought about those points - especially with Jim's thoughts overwhelming Bones causing him to lose it, I thought that 'first time' scene was especially well done! It felt as though for Bones, he wasn't himself, didn't know what was thought/Jim projecting and what was actually happening, and that would be what tipped things over for him.

I think Bones would be torn between medical curiosity and the shame that he was party to the thoughts of his co-workers. I think he would be mortified to be on the receiving end, and as such would hate to intrude. I think he values people's privacy highly. I'd like to think that's one of the main reasons why he would avoid Spock.

Definitely bookmarked, and left open in a tab to read tomorrow too :) Thank you!!

I think he also really doesn't want to know at times what is going on in Spock's head. Other times I think he does have that scientific quality and is curious. We know from TOS he can be downright sneaky if it is going to save someones life and he was quite the prankster at College, so Bones has that ability, but he is more responsible now.

Totally spot on over poor Bones being overwhelmed!

I love that they do it backwards! Silly boys.<33

I also loved that the "antagonists" were vapourous beings... I thought that was clever and really inventive.

Thank you so much for the comment.

The Thasians first appeared in the TOS episode Charlie X, so I just 'expanded' on what we knew about them from the episode.

I guess my lack of TOS knowledge just shone through! (only seen random episodes!)

Still, doesn't detract from the fact that I loved your story. :)

:D no problems! The Thasians only appeared at the very end of that episode and there was limited information on them from that appearance so I did have to do a bit of tweaking and making up still. TOS is great for some brilliant, nutty aliens.

Not too shabby despite the betas... =P

For reals tho, it was a fun read. Loved the trails of thought that Jim has and McCoy's reaction to it all. Banter was top notch between everyone hehe. Silly boys don't do anything the right way do they? XD

Nope they never do anything right. They are boys!
