I love this story! Jim is so sweet on Bones, it is adorable! Love that Jim is becoming part of the family. Go Jim! His behavior to Bones when Ida Mae was there was amazing.
You have captured the Southern accent and mannerisms of speech beautifully.
BOOKS!

Thank you so much for those lovely words. <3

The books were inspired by a certain movie where Kirk was shown to have a love of books and things antique and Bones would buy him presents.

Heh, love the Hornblower detail. I can totally see that being a present Bones would give Jim. *G*

You know that Hornblower was the character that Kirk was based upon right? It just seemed too perfect and with Bones middle name what else was he going to chose for him :D

Oh I think I'd forgotten that, because it sounds familiar. Also, when you think of Hornblower and...Bush, I think? it really is like Kirk and Spock/McCoy. Sweet! *geekerjoy*

*happy sigh* Very nice. A wonderful installment, but I have to admit that you won me completely with the book description at the end. I have long essays written on books and their place of rest. *contented joy* So happy and calm right now. Also I LOVE Rascally. And now I want one of my own.

Oh god Rascally is the sole creation of my muse. All I knew was that the boys and Joanna were going to escape into a store and well Rascally just did not want to stay there. Jim is such a sucker for a misfit. Btw we haven't seen the end of Rascally...

Thank you so much for your comment. I adore my book collection, that smell of printed pages is one of my all time fav smells, so I am glad that love came across.
