My month long trip is almost over. Being picked up to head to LAX in 45 mins. I have managed to get most of my old stuff and all my new stuff into my luggage. I did have to buy a new rolly hand luggage to make it easier (and it's bigger than my old one

*hugs back* well it may pay to know the right people... I was told by the lovely Nancy that when I come back she hopes they would be shooting on set for me next time :D I completely agree we should do something together in the future!

Yes I did bounce on his bed, sat in his chair in the precinct and played with things on all their desks and stuff!

Also LAX wifi is a crock of shit! For such a huge and busy place they are incredibly substandard :p over an hour still before boarding and I wanted to name my Flickr photos - thank god for at&t and a smart phone. How did we travel before?

Oh GODS, I got to explore Raleigh Studios while I was in LA... but Castle wasn't filming at the time, and the set was closed down. I got to see the set of Major Crime, but... I LOVE Castle. Seriously, it's the only regular TV show I watch anymore. *cries*

Was Castle's "apartment" set as awesome as it seems???

I know you did :D That was my lovely friend who showed you around and who I stayed with for the month I was there (apart from the week in Canada).

The entire set is amazing, all of them and yes, the apartment I was dying to see. What was interesting to me was it was a lot bigger than it appears on tv. I may have opened drawers and the attention to detail everywhere is great.

That's right. See, this is what happens when my brain turned into mush by the end of that trip. I STILL want to send them all something to say thanks, but I don't even know what. I wanted to make homemade fudge or something.

But yeah, if the set of Castle is anything like the set I saw, I imagine it would be amazingly detailed. I opened drawers and cabinets all over the set I saw. It was pretty cool.

I'm not surprised Castle's apartment looked big on the inside. It actually seems really large if you pay attention.

I am STILL so fucking jealous. LOL.
