Mmm, that was really interesting. This part:

When Jack says "is that clear" he looks directly at Ianto, as if to say Ianto is the one that will enforce Jack's directives.

Caught my eye, because ... yeah. It's not like he was looking at Ianto because Ianto was going to pick up the scalpel and start slicing up Owen, was it? You're right - he wants Ianto to make sure the others don't do anything. The loyalty theme's a big deal.

They don't call Ianto "Jack's Loyal Soldier" for nothing. But he is a soldier that will go against him.

So often in S2 Jack treated Ianto as his second in command.

i never relised that jack stoppe smiling when Martha kissed Ianto. You have good eyes lol

The funny thing is from the other viewpoint, that Ianto is actually smiling fondly at Martha and Jack!

One thing that I consider important from Dead Man Walking that was left out. After 'Death' kills Jack, and he wakes up in the SUV at hospital, he's buckled in and his coat is draped over him like a blanket. Who did that? Probably the one who bothers to retrieve his coat in End of Days, too. :)

ROFL! I saw in a site called "The Recapist" (the gal that summarises TW is brilliant-she calls Ianto "her fictional Welsh boyfriend" check it out! I'd post a link but I'm rubbish)a discussion of how fantastic Martha's eyebrows are.

So in effect he is saying that Jack is TinTin's dog. How does Jack react?

yeah I've read the recapist episodes, quite amusing by theoriginalspy.

Occasionally I make myself laugh, but it was just so funny that Jack finds it amusing that he is a dog in Owen's mind if Ianto is TinTin.
