Jack Point of View Picspam - part 1
Ok this has been inspired partly by fodian's excellent metas where she includes how Jack looks at Ianto. I decided to go back and look at the interactions between our boys from the start. Mainly because I like a good bit of analysis and he is pretty!
So these are from Jack’s point of view and how he has looked at Ianto in the course of their interactions over both series. These are in episode order (with the relevant part of Fragments at the start). It is very image heavy, well it is a picspam! But consider yourself warned.

Fragments
Hmm who is this guy?
Wary Jack
Still wary but there is some interest there
Nobody gets into Jack's personal space with out his permission
Not sure what to make of his saviour
Lying to Ianto
Ianto calls him on the lie, so Jack gets out of there as fast as he can
but he still has to look at him as he goes
He isn't expecting stalker boy to be there
Doesn't seem too happy
Still wary
Did Jack ever get told not to accept sweets from strangers?
But notice, that like in later episodes, Jack glances down at the coffee cup that Ianto has given him.
Then he sips and stares directly at Ianto
Impressed but doesn't want to show it
Walks away from Ianto again, but is followed and Ianto puts himself in the way.
Again he walks away but Ianto then does the rare thing of getting his hands on Jack.
Jack doesn't fully grab his hand, but uses the least amount of contact that he can to remove Ianto's hand.
Walks away again. Ianto persists
Jack really doesn't like being touched when it isn't him initiating the contact
He is quite uncomfortable
But there is something about the boy
Royally pissed off
Hmm I think we see these expressions a little later...
and Ianto throws him for a loop
Mr cool and calm and Torchwood London is making fun of Jack's 'kit'
He really doesn't want to be in Ianto's presence
Ok now he is starting to realise that there is something there
We get a smile from Jack
Jack again gets manhandled
For some reason he doesn't want to look directly at Ianto
He doesn't do it until well into their discussion
and then gets outsmarted by the suit
Jack speechless
He isn't looking at Myfanwy
Now really boys!
and then he realises where he has landed and on who
In a moment of being alive
Joy at the plan sort of working
Then it changes, noses rub, breaths mingle and Jack tilts his head up and leaves his mouth open, waiting for Ianto to make the move.
Jack wants to be kissed
Ianto retreats
Jack is left
Against his better judgment, he wants this boy
Is intrigued
Part 2 - Everything Changes to Ghost Machine
