Big ol' check in the To Do list today.  I went and got my Kentucky Driver's License, Kentucky car registration, and registered to vote (you can't do it on the day of the election here like you can in Wisconsin).  The license picture came out awesome, thank you very much - my best yet.  I feel like showing to everyone

Yeah, Dish Network has been screwing me over on this as well. I live in a very old house that has one phone jack (in the middle of the hall in the middle of the house). I have to use a splitter just to be able to plug my phone and my computer in. To run a phone line to my receiver would involve ridicuous amounts of cord running half way across my house.

Yeah, the lady keeps suggesting that I get a wireless jack if the jack is too far away. Lady, if I *had* a phone line, I'd "connect and save", let me assure you.

Well I have learned that I refuse to use Dish Network whenever I decide to add more technology to my life.

THANK YOU. I just finished sending another pointless reply to "Linda" at Customer Service, who continues to copy and paste promotional materials in lieu of answering any of my concerns. I believe I ended with, "If you're going to sign a human name to emails, you should write like a human."
