Sad sadness.  The Post Office decided not to leave my HBP since I was not home.  I am now forced to wait another two days for them to redeliver.  SIGH.

Do you know what the cheapest local phone service for a landline would be? I've been hearing really good promotional deals for DSL lately, and I pay WAY too much for my Charter cable. But I'd have to get a landline for DSL, so if it was more than like $15 a month, it wouldn't really save me any money.

I got my HBP last night! Unfortunately I was only able to cram in the first 3 chapters before I had to go to dinner with the parents.

I am finding it very difficult to concentrate on work when I know the book is out in my car just waiting for me to go to lunch! (Which is why I left it in the car. Had I brought it inside, I would be reading it right now. And that would be rather hard to hide in Cubicle Row.)

Grr! Hateful post office! I don't understand; I didn't put any delivery confirmation or anything on it. It's just normal Priority Mail. Gah.

I know, I saw that you hadn't! I think the problem is that there's no lock on our main house front door, so theoretically, it could be stolen if left on my doorstep. Whatever. I signed the thingie so they'll leave it tomorrow!
