TV on DVD Outline-ish Type Thing

Well, I've got an extremely rough "rough cut" of my presentation for my Culture Industries seminar Wednesday.  It's supposed to be 15 minutes long.  He recommended we do an improv introduction of the entire paper, then present about three pages of a specific passage - the most important finding, specific examples, or just our favorite part.  Then ( Read more... )

You're right about the lack of academic articles on this. I found a couple of articles in DVD/film/s-f magazines (so I read rubbish - big surprise!) and a couple of these were more thoughtful than usual. Got me thinking a bit along these lines.

Thanks! I'm just going to do the best I can to make it academic. Maybe use lots of big words :-)

That reminds me: you were going to send me a list of questions for my nine-year old daughter to answer. Did you decide to do a different project? Sandy just asked me about that last night.

Oh, I'm definitely still doing that project. That's for my Women's Studies class. This presentation is tomorrow, so it's getting my attention for now. I'll try to get those questions to her as soon as I can. I appreciate your (and her) help!
