Summary: Eli misbehaved for the last time and his mother sent him off to a private school. There he meets Kevin and his world is thrown upside down.
Eli was not a morning person. He hated waking up to go to class and he was not used to waking up early. He hadn't gotten used to the life in his new school yet. Waking up was the hardest part. The breakfast thing with Kevin and Kiseop was just a one time thing, he was sure of it. It made him sad thinking about it, but what could he do? He did indeed save Kiseop the day before, but it didn't really change anything, he was not really their friend was he? Since he didn't expect to be invited for breakfast again he just wanted to bury himself under his blankets and never wake up. But Soo Hyun just had to wake him up before going to his morning soccer practice.
“Eliiiiii.... wake up or you'll be late for class...”
“urh... five minutes...”
“I won't wake you up again because I have to leave you know”
“mmm... five minuteeees...”
“Oh God, you're like a zombie Eli... But I have to go so if you don't wake up soon it's your own fault. See you later!” Soo Hyun just said before he left so he wouldn't be late for practice.
Eli didn't get up five minutes later, no. He woke up TWO HOURS later by the rain smattering on his window and he realized he'd practically missed his first class AND the chance to eat breakfast. He didn't have time to dress properly so he just threw on the closest pair of jeans and a shirt and ran out, not even bringing an umbrella. When he finally got to class he was wet, from top to toe, the shirt was sticking to his chest and you could practically see right through it. Not that the sight was unpleasant, Eli did have a great body despite the fact that he didn't like it himself. His muscles really showed how much he'd been training in the past and probably still did. Eli sighed when he realized that his shirt was white and you could see right through it.
“Kim Kyoung Jae! Why are you late?”
“I... uhm... I overslept, I'm so sorry, it won't happen again...” Eli said and bowed to his teacher. It was not his intention to be late though, it was his third day and he was late, it was his goal not to be late at least not the first week. His teacher was really mad. This was a private school after all...
“Just make sure it will never happen.” She said, almost sounding threatening as Eli moved towards his seat so she wouldn't snap at him again.
He didn't even look at Kevin or Kiseop. He didn't know what to say to them. If this was his old class with his old classmates he'd been having fun, laughing with friends and flirt with the girls. Here he was still a stranger.
“Eli-yah....” He turned to his left and met Kevin's soft eyes staring back at him. “I brought you coffee and something to eat since you didn't show up for breakfast.”
He put the cup and a sandwich on Eli's bench. Eli just stared at him in disbelief. He didn't ask him to get that for him.
“Uh... How much do I owe you?”
“Nothing... Kiseop gladly payed for you don't worry.”
Eli turned around in his seat to look at the other boy who hid his face in his books in a try to not meet Eli's gaze.
“Kiseop-ah...”
“You should get some dry clothes on... or you'll catch a cold.” Kiseop just said before Eli could finish his sentence.
“Nah... it's ok.” Eli just said and gave Kiseop a weak smile. He didn't bring any extra clothes.
“No really... you're distracting Kevin...”
“He's not...” Kevin protested.
“Oh, come on! You're practically staring at him Kev.”
“I... do not...!”
“And you drool.”
“Just... shut up Kiseop... just... please.”
Kiseop just gave him a smile and continued to read when the teacher gave them an angry glare.
Eli's clothes was fully dried by lunch, but both Kiseop and Kevin was worried about him catching a cold so they forced him to wear one of Kiseop's expensive cardigans despite Eli's loud protests. He even got a scarf from Kevin. It made him feel warm. Not only on the outside but on the inside of his body. Secretly he found the scent of Kevin intoxicating. Around lunch Kiseop revealed his cooking skills, he'd actually cooked curry that Eli had requested yesterday. Eli sat down hesitantly at Kevin and Kiseop's usual table at lunch. He still didn't feel at ease being around the other guys. They were so close it was like a punch in a stomach. He wanted that to and it made him feel all weird.
“Don't you want any, Eli?” Kiseop asked when Eli didn't even look at the food.
“Uh...”
“You were the one who wanted to eat curry...” Kevin said and cocked his head a little bit to the right.
“I... uhm... I didn't think it was for me too.”
“What?! Why wouldn't it be for you too? It's not like I'd let you eat this... food... the school offers... No way.”
“I told you Kiseop's really picky when it comes to food.” Kevin said and started laughing when Kiseop threw him a glare.
“It's true, you're like a princess Kiseop-ah...”
“I am not!”
“You act like a married couple...” Eli commented silently, not really thinking of what he was saying. Kiseop and Kevin went awfully quiet and Eli just started eating the curry, not noticing the uncomfortable silence between the other two at the table. When he finally looked up from his food both Kevin and Kiseop were blushing hard. Eli just raised a confused eyebrow at their flushed faces.
“Did I say something weird?”
“No... not at all...”
“Are you really sure you really should run 20 laps around the school grounds in your condition?”
“Look... Kevin. You're not my mother and a little rain hasn't killed me before.”
“You might come down with a fever if you're not taking care of yourself properly.” Kevin said with a worried expression on his face.
“Don't worry Kevin... I'll be alright.”
“But... it's just...”
“I'll be alright, don't worry...”
“I still think... it's not a great idea...”
“Geez... Kevin, it's P.E. The only subject I can actually accomplish anything!”
“You're good in English...”
“I'm not that good...”
“You are, now stop act like that, it pisses me off.”
“Sorry...”
Eli didn't know was that he was coming down with a fever for real. So he only managed to run three laps around the school grounds before he collapsed. His last thought before blacking out was that maybe he should have followed Kevin's advice. He'd been so convinced he couldn't get sick, he'd hadn't had a cold since he was five so it this was kinda new to him.
When he woke up again he was in his bed with a worried Kevin hovering by the side of his bed.
“What happened?”
“You collapsed you idiot! You have to take more care of yourself. You were lucky that Soo Hyun have P.E with us and took the same route around the school grounds as you.” Kevin said, clearly angry but he was actually really worried.
“I'm fine, when is our next class?”
“You're not attending to any more classes today!”
“Why...?”
“Because I said so. You're sick, you collapsed!”
“I'm really fine...” Eli said stubbornly and tried to get out of the bed but Kevin pushed him back.
“NO. Kiseop-ah's already out telling the teachers you'll be sick for a couple of days.”
Eli sighed. He had to do like he was told after all then, but he didn't like missing his classes, because he'd fall behind even more on his subjects.
“Don't worry about school. Me and Kiseop will work you hard so you won't miss anything in school...”
Eli just sighed and nodded.
“Thanks. I know I'm not much of a talker, but I'm really glad I met you two...”
“We are glad we met you too Eli.”

READ PLEASE:
FINALLY! Finally I managed to write something! I've been slow with the updates for a while but I'm not just inspired. I have like a thousands of ideas and I've plans for several fics... I just won't come down to write it. D:<
Work is killing me.
SOOOO... What's this suspicious relationship between Kiseop and Kevin, huh?
I've written this special character-research chapter actually and I'm gonna put it up later if it turns out good. I don't like this chapter at all, and the story is dragging out more than I though. I promise 2shin-scenes ahead. And also this crossoveridea is growing on me. HEH.
I'm so sorry I haven't managed to upload anything lately but I'm very tired and stuff. And it's kinda lonely here in my aunt's apartment.
COMMENTS ARE LOVED!
BTW, I'm closing the poll for The Bet very very soon so be sure to vote if you haven't done that. You have it under the tag: 'poll' on the left, thank you <3
