Summary: “Your dormitory life will start today.” The manager said after he finally got all the boys to shut up. Kiseop had just gotten used to the cameras around him and to be around the other boys, and now to have them around 24/7.
“Kiseeeooooop...”
“I'm sleeping, go away”
“Nu-uh...let me stay by your side” Kevin whined.
“Now you sound like one of the lead roles in one of those crappy romantic movies.” Kiseop just muttered, but he was to tired to push the younger boy away. What did it matter anyway? Kevin was just a friend. Only a friend. Since Kevin is closer to Kibum, what chances do I have?
“Please Kiseop...”
“Fine.” he said quietly and could almost hear Kevin squeal in delight. Kevin was fast to crawl under the covers before Kiseop had any time to protest. Kiseop just sighed and let him, what difference did it make?
“Sooo... why have you been acting weird lately?”
“You're too dense to even notice... so just forget it. Just drop it.”
“But... I'm worried about you, if you're not feeling well you can talk to me”
“I'm not sick if that's what you're implying.”
Kevin was quiet as he moved closer to Kiseop. Kiseop tried to ignore the presence of the other boy because he was positive that he was going to have an heart attack as soon as he turned around to face him. So he remained where he was, with his back against Kevin. He felt one of Kevin's arms sneaked over his side to half hug him. Kiseop's tries not go get an heart attack was now useless. He felt his heart hammering in his chest, like it was a prisoner trying to getting out from his cage.
“If you're not sick... then... it's a love problem?”
Kiseop tensed at this.
“I guess I was right... who is it? Is it a girl at your school?”
“You sound like my mom.” Kiseop just said, in a try to brush it off. He didn't want to talk about this. He wasn't even sure the feelings he felt towards Kevin was love... or... well, he did know, he just didn't want to admit it when it was hopeless to even try.
“Well, if it's not a girl there, who is she?”
Kiseop sighed.
“It's not a girl...” Kiseop just whispered and tried to force his tears back. Kevin's hand caressed his chest and his stomach in a try to calm him down, like he felt that Kiseop was upset.
“Oh...” Kevin just said, but he sounded disappointed.
“But it doesn't matter, he's so close, but he's so far away. I just... can't...”
“Why don't you tell him? I don't think he would reject you, I mean, you're beautiful Kiseop, and you're so nice to everyone, what's there to not like about you?.... Kiseop...are... a-are you crying?” Kevin said worriedly and forced Kiseop to turn around and face him. Kiseop cover his face with his hands. He didn't want Kevin to see him cry.
“Kiseop... please look at me.” Kevin pleaded.
“No.”
“Kiseop. Look. At. Me” He said with a force that Kiseop never had heard in Kevin's voice before. He dared to glance at Kevin and started to cry more. Kevin just hugged him and let him cry.
“Why won't you just tell me who it is? I might be able to help you.”
“You can't. It's hopeless. He'll never...”
“Don't say that. It's someone in the group, isn't it?” Kevin guessed. Kiseop tensed again and his crying stopped.
“I was right at that one. So who is it? Can't you just tell me?”
“What would you do if it were you?”
“Me?” Kevin stared at Kiseop in disbelief. Kiseop looked absolutely terrified. I shouldn't have said that, oh god...
“I... I... I need to sleep.” Kiseop just whispered and turned his back on Kevin again. The room went quiet, he was almost sure Kevin had gone up and left.
“Kiseop. It's not me is it?”
“O-of course not...” Kiseop stuttered.
“Then... why were you saying that.. why did you.... what... no... I just... you said...” The words that came out of Kevin's mouth were broken and sad. “I'm so stupid... of course it's not... m-me”
Kiseop stayed quiet, listening to Kevin's words. His breath was so weird, was he crying?
Kiseop turned around again to look at Kevin. He'd never seen him cry like that. It was breathtakingly beautiful, but at the same time it hurt so much to see him in that state. But why was he crying?
“If... it were me... I'd be the luckiest man on Earth...” Kevin whispered between sobs. Kiseop couldn't help but smile like an idiot. He was so stupid, he was not even sure why he'd been so worried about this earlier.
“Consider yourself the luckiest man on Earth then.” Kiseop whispered and he couldn't help but kiss the other boy. Kevin was in shock, but not in so much shock that he couldn't respond to the sweet kisses that Kiseop smothered him with at the moment. He sighed.
He indeed was... the luckiest man on Earth.
