Hi everyone! As some of you know the Niki/Peter community has been growing! This is GREAT for us :) However, the idea of this community came as a result of wanting to find other fans for Niki and Peter. Does making avatars and banners be included as "contributions"? ...honestly, I haven't watched a single episode of Heroes, but I've been lurking around this series a lot, and the two characters featured in this community are strongly luring me into a fan... well, mostly a shipper of their relationship, but you get the point I'm trying to say, right?

Actually, the fact you even wrote a comment here shows "involvement". All we're asking is that members post or comment (like you are doing right now) here at least 2 times every 8 weeks :)

There will be exceptions like if someone is moving, going abroad, etc.

But if someone is a member of this community and has never posted anything...ever? Well it feels as if they're not even in the community :)

So YES :) making banners and icons will be very much welcomed! Hey, we'll even give ya cookies :) lol.

I admit part of my problem is in addition to the phases of reading all or nothing, I also have moments where nothing of a particular 'ship or 'verse appeals to me. Not that that's happened in Heroes yet, but I know sometimes I get the alert there's something new here (or wherever) and Im just not in the mood at that moment and then I forget to come back to it!

But 2 times in 2 months is by no means unreasonable, and maybe it'll inspire, erm, me to de-lurk elsewhere too!

thanks for understanding though :D I mean I didn't want to come off as elitist or snooty, but as happy as I am with a lot of the memberships, I think it's good for members to be active in supporting each other or contributing :)

I understand life happens and there are exceptions which is why I think a comment OR post 2 times every 2 months is reasonable :)

Totally agree and I didn't read it as elitist or snooty. I, unfortunately, am the queen of procrastination when it comes to personal computer stuff. (If you looked at my email inbox right now you'd see messages waiting for me to reply to them since March!)

So, totally agree and very reasonable. And, hey, it's your comm. even if people think it's unreasonable, they're loss! And it's not like you're asking for an essay or anything, 2 comments!

Well Gestapo? LOL. Fighting words? Nice ambiguous comments there, buddy. Polite enough to avoid being obscene but annoying enough to be considered snide.

Either way, I guess I should thank you since you've pretty much have given the PERFECT example about why we're cleaning house, and make the community more exclusive.

Nah, and as far as the shipping preferences? I'd say we're more in a state of Martial Law. Clearly you don't like Niki and Peter as much or respect for people in this community in general.
