Didi is super well adjusted. I like to think of her as as brazen as Emma, but as thoughtful as Emily, prone to doing utterly over the top things for generally good (unselfish) reasons. (Also, of course, she just has zero self-hatred, which sets her off from both her parents, especially as teenagers.)

Oh, yes. Didi is amazingly well-adjusted, especially if you consider her previous world, and how she had to adjust to his world as first. Even more if you consider the state of the relationship between Emma and Emily. And that's what's really so impressive about it - despite the fact that they argue a lot, and Didi knows that, they still take care of her properly so that's she's perfectly-adjusted. Th lack of self-hatred is a gigantic bonus, since that way she can avoid her parents' pitfalls. Indeed, it is telling that these two traits (lack of self-hatred and being well-adjusted) are the two primary negative traits of Emma and Emily, and that they managed to raise her without them.

Great to see you back with the fake empire universe. Always loved your Didi, totally forgot about Rhiannon (may go back and read that again) and always enjoy your Emma Frost. I'll look forward to more.

Thank you! This is mostly Didi's story, but that's not to say I don't know exactly what happens with Rhi... mmm (I'm kind of mean to my characters, aren't I?).
