Finally got to listen to them, thanks to a dear friend.^-^
And since I'm listening to them right now, I want to write down my thoughts.
I think, there's nobody who has no nostalgic feeling when listen to some of the Disney classics or watch the movies. Because it's same for me and I still love the Disney Classics and the unforgettable songs. Before I

While listening, I couldn´t resist some disappointment. All those sound names made me expect more (or it´s just what you said - seiyuu aren´t professional singers, so they can´t be (well, mostly) compared to regular singers who recorded the original versions) and it seems some songs don´t match the vocal range of singers at all. Too bad for Suzu...
At the other hand, I was really surprised how nicely Seki Tomokazu sings, since I never considered him a skilled singer before, and also Yamadera-san, who didn´t impress me as a Banana Fritters member, did well now.
You know, I don´t mean to be too critical, they´re our beloved seiyuu after all, but this is how I feel about this CD. It´s not bad but it could surely be better.

Maybe I was not that much disappointed as I knew what to expect, meaning lowered my expectations. And after reading the reviews on amazon.jp I lowered them even more, i guess.^^;;
This is the first time I've heard Yamadera-san singing. Not bad for the first impression.^-^
I really love JunJun's "Bibbidi", but if I have to point out the cutest thing of the CD, then it would be Miyu-kun's "Under the sea".;I

Or did you mean his singing style?
I've heard some re-edited versions in english, japanese, german.. And I also happen to like some of them. Hence I'm a bit more used to it, I guess.;)
Well, I'm also not that tolerate if the change is too jaring. Like you know, for example if the original song was a ballad, but edited into a pop-song and so on, if you get what I mean.^^;
Wow! 30++ years! Well, I can only count 20+ the longest (Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Cinderella.)

This is the first time I've heard Yamadera-san singing, and it's really a very good first impression. He sounds like a japanese Elton John! Perfect choice of seiyuu!
I still cry a bit whenever I rewatch the movie again, it's so sad and beautiful.;_;
