I got a new job today. My current one is only guaranteed to last through June, at which point the owner might be hanging up his hat. And yes, plows suck. After our big snowfall, they came through with a grader to try to get the snowpack of the (dirt) roads, and then removed the snow with a bulldozer. Guess where they bulldozed it to? Right into our yard and the yards of other people on our side of the street. There isn't a bank of snow along the road. There is a wall of snow that has to be 10 feet high. Our very own snow privacy fence. :) This contributes to the fact that, now, we have nowhere to shovel snow to when it falls. What really ticked me off is that there is a large empty lot right across the road from us. Why the heck couldn't they bulldoze the stuff there? Men! They don't think ( ... )
