Woo! Friday night excitement!

My Friday nights are so exciting that I...do memes. Ah, middle age. :) Anyway...

This is...strangely accurate, given that the name is fictional. :) Well, except for the organized part, which I most certainly am not. I especially like the part about being a Seeker. *dies* (OK, OK, so they didn't capitalize it. It still made me giggle. :) )

It long. I cut. I nice. I write Dinobots too much. )

randomness, weather blather, critters!, memes

Yeah yeah yeah... when you see a Bigfoot, THEN we'll talk. ;)

But seriously, a lynx? That is beyond cool.

It was really cool. I knew they were around. Frosty's ex-husband saw one once, and people see tracks and whatnot all the time, but it was cool to actually see one and I got a pretty good long look at it, too, before it veered off into the trees. Very beautiful animal. I can't believe they make coats out of them. :(

Heh. Frosty's mother insists she saw a Bigfoot once...but then Frosty's mother is kind of a kook, so... :)

Like owner, like computer? :)

Yeah, I had a pretty good holiday. Kind of quiet, other than Frosty's father being here over Christmas. But quiet is good, in my book. It was nice to just relax and chill. Hope yours was good, too. :)

And no, I don't think they have lynx in Australia. *laughs* But the tradeoff is that you get cool things like 'roos and koalas and emus and really cool spiders and snakes and stuff.

Yeah kinda like that XD

Eh mine was okay, my Dad didn't have me over at my grandmother's place for long so I was left in the house for over 3 hours...I even broke down and cried before my mother returned because I thought that I was gonna be a hermit for the rest of my life.

However my friend from the US brightened my day a few days after Christmas and gave me a huge giftpack (I reciprocated earlier, she got her gift on the 24th I think). So I sent her a "Thank You" card on Thursday

Yeah we do XD I never held a koala before strangely enough and yeah we got some interesting fauna. I do NOT like spiders AT ALL, absolute arachnephobic speaking XD and snake-wise?

They're okay with me but don't show one to my mother for two reasons, "extreme" "ophidiophobic" and apparently we've got a giant wild cat in the bushes of Victoria, one hunter has its body to prove it.

"We're supposed to get snow this weekend. 2-4 inches tomorrow and 3-5 on Sunday. I'll believe it when I see it. On the other hand, since we have no testosterone-filled teenage boys at home on the weekends to shovel the stuff, I bet we get three feet of snow."

Three feet. Specifically.

{grim chuckle} Perhaps you shouldn't have spoken...Or you got on the Constructicons' bad side while they were building their latest weather-control system...

Oh my gosh! You're right! I so nailed that, didn't I? Just sign me up to be a meteorologist. :) Next time I'll try to remember to keep my mouth shut. :)

Actually, the official count was 30", which is only 2.5 feet. But close enough. :) Then again, that was in Bayfield, which is six miles south and 600 feet lower in elevation than us, so we might have actually hit three feet. :)
