Second: So we watched the premiere of the new Transformers cartoon this past weekend. My overall reaction:

Eh. At best.

( I doubt there's a Transformers fan who hasn't seen it, but just in case: Spoilers ahoy, probably. )

Things are wonderful, so long as I don't allow myself to become distracted. I've written more on my original novel. If I'm lucky and persistent, it'll be completed by the end of this month!

Your opinion is your own. I'd think that what really got ya is how smashed up the show felt. Just so rushed and smashy. I'd give it 2 more eps before calling it quits myself.

Maybe in a month or so we'll download the episodes to date and watch them and then decide from there if we want to continue to bother with downloading from that point. We'll see.

And yeah, so far from the teeny bit we saw of him in the premiere, Blitzwing gets a thumbs up from me. And from Frosty. That might change if they overdo it, though. Too much of anything is rarely a good thing, you know? :)

I hope you're better now of your stomach after these days. X-mas has many secondary effects, and stomach's ache is one of them >_<

As for the new TF series....

I haven't seen them yet because they aren't being aired in Spain (yet) but I'm looking forward to see them thanks the net. However, I'm interested in opinions, and nevermind the spoilers.
I agree about your characters desing opinion. I don't like them, either. And the kids? Oh, yes! It's a non-written law: humans in TF series always will be annoying. I've heard a little about SS's new voice and I was surprised because I found it fit him really well, but I didn't know it was from the original version of SpongeBob! O_o Dunno about the rest of the characters but it looks like they'll have major roles than the previous series.
