Oh god. I may have yelped when I saw this update. This was the first fic I ever read in the fandom (for some reason it took me 12 years to even think of reading avengers fic) so that and the fact it's amazing means I have a massive love for this fic. I think you caused me to be a bit obsessed with TonySteve fics where the press is involved because you do it so well and augh. Sorry for rambling. Long story short I love this, you are awesome.

Let us, for a moment, pause to reflect on how utterly stupid one must be to try and gay bash Captain America. Not only is this man the greatest hand-to-hand fighter in the Marvel universe (except for Taskmaster who's a cheating cheaterpants), but he is also built like the proverbial brick shithouse. Excuse me while I sit here and laugh.

Anyway, aw, they are so cute! *hearts and sparkles* Tony's all protective of Steve and Steve's all protective of Tony, and Tony likes it when Steve holds him, and MATCHING HELMETS (*snorts* what? Of course they match!). Meeble meep.

Reading your tabloid fics makes me laugh, and it fills me with happy feels. ;w;

I know, right? Someone didn't really think that through! In my head, Tony was torn between incredulity that they actually thought that was a good idea and sheer fury that they'd try to hurt Steve.
