So I've been making a track listing of music to go along with Sundown, with the intention of providing a link to mood music for each chapter as I post it, and I just realized the song I had chosen for the big smut scene between Edward and Bella is actually about lesbians.

Yeah, I'm really glad I caught that before I posted it. Even if no one else noticed I'd still be super embarassed.

I think with me, I just get so much into the tune sometimes that I don't really pay enough attention to the lyrics beyond the chorus. LOL

I'm just curious, though, what's the song?

The song was Tell Me by Billie Myers. I wanted something sexy but not too sweet (because E/B smut is serious business). I hadn't actually listened to the song in awhile, so I'd forgotten most of the words, but the music was exactly what I was looking for.

So I was writing earlier today, and I had it on repeat to set the mood. Then I noticed she kept singing about "the woman in me" and whatnot during the chorus, and I was like "waaaaaaaaaait a minute". Then I checked on wikipedia, and yes, Billie totally plays for the pink team. Still a great song, but maybe not the best choice for a hetero love scene.
