So now I've had time to sleep on this whole mess, and am a bit more coherent. My first reaction this morning was to hope that it had all been a horrible dream but, like Breaking Dawn, it was not the case.

I've been chilling over at lion_lamb , watching the horrified reactions as they roll in, and I keep seeing comments to the effect of 'OMG, why is everyone ( Read more... )

True.

I can't remember who said it, but they noted that SM might have been wanting out, anyway. She hadn't worked on this in ages and had admitted to falling out of love with Edward. Who knows....this might have been a way for her to get out of having to finish it. Plus, she might not have faith in herself after the whole BD thing. Maybe she was scared to finish, thinking she'd not do it justice.

*sigh*

Whatever the case, it's just crappy for her to back out....AND to act like that in public.
