Thank you! I'm very new to GIMP and still struggling with layers and their properties. Your outcomes here are beautiful, and I appreciate your taking time to share your method.
glad to be helpful:) I still remember how frustrated I was, when I first started using Gimp, but then I got used to it and I wouldn´t change it for anything:) That´s kind of a motivation for me, to make these tutorials:)
great tutorial, i fell out of using GIMP but now that I'm back I forgot the majoirty of its functions. Very easy and simple to follow. I have a question on the saturation and the master levels, I am not sure where to put the settings.
Thank you, I´m glad you like it As to your question about the Hue- Saturation settings - it´s really simple. Open the tab with Hue-Saturation settings. There is a circle with six colours with checkboxes and one button - Master button in the middle of them. Make sure that none of the colours is checked (or just click on the Master button) Bellow the circle there are three lines marked as Hue, Lightness and Saturation. Leave Hue and Lightness as they are (set to 0) and move Saturation to 30. Click OK and you´re done :)
