Izumicon 2009 - The Con that Sucked... for the Most Part

Well, the con season has come to and end for me with Izumicon 2009. It wasn't a stellar con, but at the same time it wasn't a total loss. I has 10x more fun going to Wal-Mart than going to the actual con, didn't see any really good cosplayers this year, and just had a general all-around sucky time as far as the con goes. Hi, it's Shippygirl from DA. My lj account page is pretty dead, I just regularly visit communities here.

I did see some good cosplayers and cosplay groups at the con. I didn't go to many panels and didn't realize people were hanging out in the back area behind the convention center. Still, this was a very small con compared to Tokyo in Tulsa IMO. I liked how people hung out in the halls there and ran around the lobby area having fun. I thought I saw more cosplayers at TNT than I saw at Izumicon eventhough TNT had lots of Lolitas running around.

My friends and I had a pretty stressful time running up to the con, so it was nice that we got to have some stress relief at it eventhough it wasn't all stress free that weekend.

Hey,it's Xemnas. I thought your cosplay's looked awesome. Don't let other's get you done, even friends. People just have different levels of skills, besides it's just for fun not a contest. ^_^

I to was disappointed in this con. I kept hearing how good I Izumicon was and it kinda sucked. The best part was hanging out with everyone.... We need to group cosplay to Walmart more often, that was hysterical.
