I love the little "you're wearing that" moment towards the end, shinodabear was right- it reads exactly like something from the show, and I love it. Can't wait until the next update! :3

This is a fantastic read - I really, really enjoyed it. It's such a wonderful change to read a mature fic with a plot and characters that resemble the characters of the show. Not the childish, innane drivel that the fandom mostly produces. I've just read all three chapters and I love the way Arthur's concern is masked. My favourite scene had to be the one with Morgana - subtle but realistic. I can't wait to see what the implications of William's visit will be! A diamond amongst coals!! Well done!!

I'm so glad to hear that you find the characters believable. I try to keep everyone as in-character as possible because that's the type of writing I prefer to read.

I liked that Gaius gave him the sleeping potion. Good old Gaius. I also liked that Arthur couldn't really tell Merlin how concerned he was and so acted like a prat (in Merlin's eyes) instead. Great job so far.

Gaius is just as concerned as Arthur, but it seems they have very different ways of showing it. :)
