Very sweet. There are not enough fics about Sharon and Kara's friendship and I think this was really nice. Also I have a fondness for what goes on after YCGHA. Nice touch with bringing up the dress from Colonial Day in the locker and giving us a good reason as to how she had it.

I haven't actually read a BSG fic in a long time. This is mostly due to the fact that I still haven't seen the fourth season in its entirety. I'm really glad I broke that hiatus to read this. It was sweet, light and just the nicest bit of fluffy dessert one could ever need this time of night, like a mid-night caper to the fridge-freezer for a that single spoon of ice-cream you've been craving all evening.

Oh, sweet! Sharon isn't someone I ever got a good feeling for on the show really, but the scene in Scar made me wish we got more of their actual relationship. Sigh.

And I loved this part especially:
She thinks of a picture folded and unfolded, thinks of miracles and a dead man's smile (but not the first one, oh no, never the first one) and a warm hand reaching down to her. She thinks of arguments dissolving into laughter and delirium. She thinks of fire and screeching metal and this time it means that they're alive.

Oh man, that fic made me *miss* the early days of BSG when nobody knew they or their friends were really Cylons, and nobody was married, and the show didn't suck more often than not and... Sigh. So nostalgic now, thanks to you.
