The only reference I have is Wiki for Baku and it doesn't say much about them. Are they Evil, Neutral, or Good, do you think?

Well... it depends on the baku. I'm mostly am going off a manga I know but they can be anything. Obviously they eat dreams but they can also eat nightmares. Not to mention they can take control over the dream/nightmare. In Tegoshi's case he causes nightmares and then eats them because they're more filling. Nightmares are the equivalent of three maybe even five dreams.

Not to mention people usually have a total of six dreams a night, but obviously we don't remember them so in Japan baku were used as an excuse for the ones that weren't remembered. Also, some people loved baku and invited them into their dreams going as far as writting the kanji for 'baku' on their pillow at night where others thought they were evil. xD
