Okay, I don't even know how to express my joy in words here. Because this? Is FABULOUS. I love, love, LOVE how well you put together Brendon's life juggling school and work and practice and living on his own. His shitty apartment! His lack of real food! How tired he is! I just wanted to hug him and feed him soup!

And THEN there's the lovely slow build between him and Spencer, which pretty much reduced me to happy goo. You kept their interactions so well in character, and the sex! I'm a huge fan of frottage to begin with, but in this context, when you have two teenage boys having sex for the first time, it's pretty much the perfect situation for frottage. And BOY was it ever hot. Ngh.

Oh, and this is possibly one of the best descriptions I've ever read:

Spencer leans over and picks up a candy wrapper. It's going to take a lot more than that before his place stops looking like a hurricane went on a roller coaster and then threw up all over his apartment. But, he appreciates the sentiment.Seriously, this is amazing, and I ( ... )

Aw, THANK YOU! I love this. I love love love pre-fame panic! fics (as you know from my prompt!) and this just perfectly captures everything that is awesome about them.

I love the way your wrote Brendon, sort of weary and out of his depth but trying so, so hard. Giving up dairy for his voice and not knowing what 'broil' means and being kind of clueless about sex, aww. And I love the ending, and this!Spencer, and everything. Thank you so much! :D

The best thing about this is that you let Brendon have DEPTH.

He gave up a fucking lot for this band, for all of this, and it could have been a bad gamble. I love seeing that.
