[ ooc - not at all! tieria doesn't have a gift for him, but he certainly won't care. ]

"Hey, T," Sou came into the room with a slim little smile hovering about his mouth. He liked his roommate; the two of them seemed to get on fairly well, which was a surprise to him. He hadn't relished the thought of having to share his private space.

But Tieria wasn't intrusive. Seemed to him - a quiet, gentle presence. Nothing like Masahiro.

Well, Masahiro could be like that, when he wanted to. Sou hadn't seen the other for a few weeks - the present he bought for him was hidden in a closet, gathering dust and uncertainty.

i'm assuming this thread is pre-people-showing up? trapmeister December 26 2008, 22:00:16 UTC
Looking up from his strangely artful cookie trays, Tieria smiled softly at his roommate, before holding out one of the cookies he'd yet to lay out. "Merry Christmas," he said softly. "I laid your gift on your bed."

[ ooc - tieria bought sou a warm, mahogany-colored sweater. because he is lamesauce. also, "gathering dust and uncertainty" is one of the best lines ever. ]

Sou took the sweet. "You didn't have to get me anything, you know." He said, looking at Tieria and that smile. He couldn't echo it; it seemed unfair if it wasn't real.

"I don't have anything for you."

A small shrug to match his smile. "Christmas gifts aren't bought because one is required to buy them. They're bought because one desires to buy them." He took a small sip of his hot cocoa. "You can choose to open it now, or later during the party. I didn't know how comfortable you would be opening a gift in front of people you may or may not know."

He took another sip, then added softly, "I love giving gifts. I hate shopping, but giving I enjoy. Receiving gifts embarrasses me thoroughly, so you not giving me one is perfectly acceptable." A pause. "Though if you had, I would have accepted it graciously. Giving is important, and far more revealing than receiving. An open choice."

Belphegor wasn't sure what he'd be doing for Christmas. If he were home... Well, his parents never liked him anyway. And Xanxus wasn't around for him to bother, and while he wanted to play with Minato, he wasn't sure what to say, and he definitely didn't want to spend Christmas with Fran. So when he received the email from Tieria, he was absolutely thrilled. At least he didn't have to sneak into Tieria's room now, to give him his gift. And Feldt was going to be there, too!

So, with two gifts wrapped as best he could (he wasn't particularly good at wrapping things), Bel made his way to Tieria's room, and instead of knocking, let himself in the room.

"Tieria~ Feldt~ The prince is here!"

Chizuru actually squealed when she read the email from Tieria. Sure, she knew the awful truth about him now, after a few oblivious days of thinking he was actually a girl. But male or female, he still had a pretty face! And more importantly, she found that she liked him as a friend. He seemed a little reserved, uptight even. And that's exactly why he needed someone like her in his life! She was practically his angel.

And she would've come to the party dressed like one. But someone had already rented that costume.

Chizuru settled for the Santa costume instead, complete with little red skirt and white fur trim. She pulled the black knee-high boots on last, gathered a few little gifts into the red bag, and headed towards the upperclassman's room.

"Merry Christmas~" She called out as she slipped into the room. At least she didn't say 'ho ho ho.' It would've been all downhill from there.

Greeting Belphegor pleasantly as he arrived, Tieria directed him towards the small, but real, pine tree standing between the tray of cookies and the tray of beverage packets, neat, tidy, and impeccably decorated. "Gifts go under the tree," Tieria said pleasantly, gesturing to the already-formed pile there. "I figured we could open them when everyone got here, or as people needed to leave." He sipped his own cup of hot cocoa, comfortably sitting in his desk chair, which he had scooted to the side to make more room for the throw pillows he'd littered around the room for people. Proper hosting was a learned skill.

He repeated his directions when Chizuru bounced in moments later, already feeling the energy level of the room going up, guests arriving. Once both Belphegor and Chizuru were settled, Tieria asked them, as well as Feldt, Sou, and the room at large, "Have the holidays been well?"
