 I have questioned my Americaness, yes I know I "act" hopelessly American and I don't think I am an better than any of my fellow citizens. However, it seems that I value a lot of things that most other Americans do not. A lot of "American Values" go against my own urges. I think it's better to be yourself, no matter where you live. Well. I guess the miles that separate the U.S. from Europe do matter, slightly...But I dunno in which way. Anyway you're totally right...the place we live in shouldn't determine some types of differences...I personally hate acting like others do. They may talk behind my back, I don't care.
