"Fides", huh? Well, so far, I have "faith" in this story (scio Latinum - spero videre multum Latinum in fabula, but I can go without. xD). You're not even a full chapter in and already I'm like OMG RELIGIOUS SYMBOLISM IN DARK FICS OMG YAY.

I have a thing for religious symbolism in dark!fics, in case you couldn't tell. I remember the post you made a while back asking for a beta for a 30 or so page fic rife with religion and darkness and all the cool stuff, too, so I was very, very excited to see your post come to life. Demon!Perry FTW.

Glad you liked the symbolism and stuff. I LOVE putting religious symbolism in fics, which is kinda odd considering I'm an atheist =D It's just so much fun to play with the meanings and twists behind religious stuff.

Seriously, we need a "The Todd's Fantasy" episode. Give him his own "His Story." That would be the crackiest Scrubs ep EVAR.

The was seriously my thought through the entire chapter.
But I'll have you know it was good WTF-age. Honestly.

As everyone else has said, I love me some religion-themed dark!fic. It works out so great. This prologue was amazing; repetition in the all the right places, scary WTFness, suspense, everything. I'm definitely hooked.

I have, however, always hated that passage of the Bible. It makes me sad. Great use of it, though.

I can't wait to read more.

Haha, I think as a slash fan, it is required that you hate that Bible passage. It works well in this context though. That was one of the passages I had in mind I think even before I started writing this.

And I'm glad it's a good WTFness. Always better than bad WTFness :)

Too true. It does work great, though. I honestly can't wait for the next installment, because now I'm morbidly curious. (Because pretty much involving Perry Cox is like a train wreck, and you just can't look away.)

Perry is a trainwreck in of himself. And morbid curiousity is the best kind of curiosity. Whenever is there any need for any other type? =D

I don't want to release em too quickly, but I know ya'll get angsty when it takes a while. It's fully completed, so dun worry about any WIP "OMG SHE NEVER FINISHED" nightmares.

Uh... I guess if I die or something before it gets completed, I give one of my betas permission to finish posting it xD
